What is the cost of a ticket? What is included in the ticket cost?

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students (with proof of student ID). A ticket includes admission, two soup samples, one complimentary bowl of soup, live entertainment throughout the evening, a silent auction, mystery raffle, and soup competition. Also included in the ticket price is assorted breads and a complimentary bottle of water.

 

What can I purchase at the event?

Cash bar with drink samples ranging from $3 to $5, mystery raffle prizes for $10, gourmet pulled Pork sliders for $2 and more! There will also be a silent auction.

Soup will be served at our event by the following vendors:

Will there be gluten-free or vegan options?

Yes, we will have both options available for guests with dietary restrictions.

 

Is ID required for this event?

Yes! Since alcohol will be served at this event security will be checking guest's ID at the door. The minimum age for alcohol consumption in Ontario is 19.

 

What should I wear?

Soups, Stews & Brews is a casual event. Wear what you are comfortable in. It is suggested that guests wear clothing appropriate for the weather that day.

 

Is this a Cash only event?

Yes! However, there is an ATM directly across the street at Meridian and various other banks nearby.

 

Who is benefitting from this event?

All proceeds from this event are going to the Many Hands Project in support of Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold.

 

How can I give more to this cause?

Food bins will be available on-site the day of the event for guests to drop off non-perishable items.

 

 

Where is Market Square located?

It is located at 91 King St, St.Catharines, ON.

 

Where do I park? How much will it cost?

Parking is available on site at Market Square. Parking costs $1.50 per hour between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm. After 6 pm parking is free. There is also available street parking around Market Square.

Directions From Toronto:  Take the QEW Niagara and follow signs for Niagara Falls. Take the Highway 406 exit towards Welland/Port Colborne/Thorold. Continue onto the 406 S and take the Fourth Avenue exit. Merge onto Fourth Avenue. Turn Right onto Lake St. Turn left onto James St. Turn right onto King St.

 

Directions From Niagara Falls: Take the QEW Toronto. Take the exit for Niagara St/Welland Avenue. Turn left onto Welland Ave. Turn left onto Niagara St. Turn right onto Church St. Turn left onto King St.

Market Square is a five-minute walk from the St. Catharines Bus Terminal.
